Intro Blog

Hi Everyone,

My name is Tom. I started here at Lesley this fall and am actually graduating in May. Very Exciting and very fast as I didn’t spend a lot of time here. I have big plans to move after I graduate to somewhere like Los Angeles. I recently have been very interested in obtaining fitness goals and would like to get more into DJ’ing. It has just been recent objectives I’ve discovered. When we were told to write down our mission statement in class I only wrote down one thing and that was to be happy with my life. But pertaining to the activities we did in class I have to being Charismatic and having character is most important to me. I really want to shape out who I am and live for the journey and the moment, however, I do have an eye out for the future always. I really want to live a life that I choose.

My internship is with ArtVenue Inc. And they are a new start up online business that connect artists with venues such as coffee shops and restaurants (ie. starbucks, berryline). The company was actually a winner of Mass Challenge which is a non-profit that helps potential start-up business idea and they won a grant of $50,000 to start their company. They work in a beautiful office with many other start up idea companies and have many resources at their disposal. I actually am able to attend a lot of conferences and seminars on entrepreneurship and TED ideas. It will be a great experience.
