Introduction Blog

My name is Gabrielle Brixey and I am currently a senior graduating in May.  I am from California, and transferred last year to play softball for Lesley University.  I am majoring in Business Management with the emphasis of Sports Management.  As of right now I am completing my Spring 2012 internship with Simmons College in the Athletic Department.  I am working with the Assistant Athletic Director learning compliance and payroll, along with many more tasks from the Assistant AD. 

            My future goals consist of following my dream in the sports industry.  I have grown up around sports and knew that my future had something to do with them.  Since I have been in college, I have gained experience through different internship that I have been able to complete.  I plan to further my career by attending graduate school and getting my masters in an MBA program.  Also along that side my goal is to hopefully in time work for the MLB or the NFL. 

            My mission statement is that I want to be able to follow my dreams and know that I have fulfilled my goals in life.  To look back and realize that I have tried everything I wanted to.
