It's been pretty exciting stuff for the TR this week. The owners sent in a proposal for the location that we visited last week. They are going to go over the numbers with me and basically show me how they came up with them and the reason for how much they offered. Although we think the offer is going to get denied, there is no harm in trying. Instead of asking for the whole building, they want to lease the firs two floors, which have a lot of floor space and would be perfect for another TR.
I had some trouble "comp-ing" the clients I was supposed to do last week, but I am on it now and should have it done by Friday. Because of some family emergencies, I couldn't go into the TR, but this week we are already talking about meeting on Friday to go over the proposal.
My supervisors are very busy, but when they set up time for it, they give me their full attention and have no problem, essentially, teaching me everything I want to know about a small business. I look forward to this Friday and then the time off for Spring Break as well.
I am also still working on getting that list of contact for potential employees. If they expand they need to hire more employees to take care of the new clients they are going to have. That location has a very prime spot where I feel like they will be getting a lot more clients than they have now. Asking for two floors was very smart.
Thanks.
