Slow Week

Although I took a week off from working for Spring break there seemed to be even less to do this week. My supervisor actually encouraged me to go away for my spring break rather than having me come in. So this week was very light with work. Right now my supervisor is actually going through some troubles with his developing partner and is really focused on that.
The picture of the wall that I put up last week came out nice however we were missing the placards. I was actually somewhat shocked that when I came in they still weren't up yet. It had been two weeks and the placards should have been up right after the pictures were up. I was a little surprised my supervisor hadn't taken care of it. I had decided to e-mail the artist and asked if he would like to extend the date since it took too long to put up the placards.
I also had received several resumes submitted for interns this week and we finally have a first interview. The interview will be taking place this coming Thursday before our conference call. My supervisor will obviously be taking care of the interview but I was excited to accomplish this. Overall the main duties and tasks of the week was just a lot of database entry for publication art blogs and more internship opportunities as well as arts organizations. We did however have to talk about some points that he needs to review my postings before they go up as things can get a little lost. Overall it was a very simplistic week.
