I was asked to go into the TR this last week and I had no idea what I was going to be doing, and to my surprise I had the most fun cleaning things than I ever have in my life. They have about 15 or so spinning bicycles in the TR... I had to take every bike apart, piece by piece, so that Maren could check the tension of the bikes and do some maintenance on them. I then cleaned the pieces and lubricated them with some silicone spray. After that I cleaned the chains and re-lubricated them. After that I put them back together and that was that.
If Maren would have done it by herself, it would have taken her about 8 hours to get all the bikes done. Luckily, we had Derek, Heidi and myself helping her out, so we knocked it all out in about 2 hours.
An email went out today regarding the summer bootcamp. I was CC-ed in it because my last internship supervisor (at the Somerville Recreation Center) is very important to the city of Somerville and might be able to help make it be a co-partnership with the TR and the city of Somerville.
Thanks
