My internship has had its ups and downs and sometimes I focused more on the downs than ups but in the end, after reflecting on what I have already done and learned at my internship, I realized that those ups and downs had taught me more than any classroom. Without the stress I experienced, at times, at my internship I wouldn't have learned how to work through the stress to accomplish the goal. I will take these internship experiences and lessons with me to the next internship and then further to a career and job outside of college. In the end I have learned so much, but trying to define what exactly I have learned wouldn't suffice.

Now Looking Back On It...
As we had our conference calls this week I had a hard time answering what exactly I'm learning. As I reflected on what I have accomplished in my internship I started to realize I have learned a lot, not by textbook definition but I learned more about how the job is done, how to work with others in a professional setting where there are goals and mission statements to follow, how to prioritize which project comes first and the responsibility of getting tasks done on time and finished in a professional manner. I have learned a lot that is hard to explain because there are no textbooks or lectures that could teach me this, the experience alone has taught me a lot about working for a non-profit organization.
