Pushed out of the comfort zone

One thing I have been forced to do at my internship is step out of my comfort zone and learn to network on my own. The organization I am working for is very reputable and always extremely busy. As a non-profit organization there is no time to wasted, as there is a lot of networking and jobs to be done everyday. So instead of asking too many questions I am pushed to learn the ins and outs of networking on my own.

I can't complain about this at all since I usually tend to enjoy having my own space to use my own work ethics and creativity, I like being able to create and design templates for the certain social networks I am using along with being able to write, knowing that it will reach a large community that supports and enjoys the work of our non-profit organization. Some of these qualities were also stated in the results of my online personality quiz, ESTJ

This personality type is pinpointed for "driven to make decisions, realistic, talkative, likes structure and can organize and remember many details" which is what I illustrate during my internship. I enjoy being able to be given a list of networking jobs and being able to socially branch out to the community as well as make decisions on how I will go about writing and creating structure for each task.

I have come to the conclusion that I picked the right internship for me and my personality/qualities and am also starting to realize my aspiration of becoming an event planner would be rather practical for me, as I enjoy organizing, being creative and interacting with clients.
