I had another good week at my internship this week. I had a
lighter workload, but I also felt helpful. One project I continued to work on
was trying to get donations from pizza and ice cream providers to give to local
school winners for the Coats for Kids drive. I didn’t completely finish the
task, but that was expected, and I did get some more donations as well as
re-organizing our documentation.
Another thing I worked on was for a new event we are working
on for Belle of the Ball that is with Bloomingdale’s. This is a really great
opportunity for our campaign. It is going to be a drop-off site for our dress
donations as well as the host of a fashion show that we will be involved in. We
are also trying to motivate 4 local schools to participate in a
competition-like dress drive. My task was to look over all of the information
for both Belle of the Ball and the Bloomingdale’s fashion show and compile a
document that would embody all of that information to invite the four schools
to participate and help. This is difficult because you want to both motivate
and inform and it was my first experience creating an entire document like
that.
I had some other
small tasks this week involving our Facebook and other accounts, but definitely
had less work than last week. I am still really enjoying my time at Fuseideas
and the more time I spend there and get to know the other employees, the more I
enjoy it.
