Same thing different day

As much as I truly enjoy my internship it seems to be very repetitive. I understand my responsibilities and the tasks I am given so I am now able to do them much quicker than my first or second week. This has unfortunately made it so I don't have as much work and a lot of my time is done keeping myself busy with small tasks in between my assignments from my supervisor. I am very greatly for my internship and the wonderful environment that I am in since I love working their I just wish I had more of a variety in the work I am given. The work is a large responsibility I just wish it was a different task and not the same thing each week. I;m hoping to as for a few more responsibilities or to be shown some other aspects of the company and maybe sit in on one of the floor meetings and try and get myself involved in other aspects of the company to learn more.
