Friends aren't always good

Coming to the end of my internship is getting really sad and having to say goodbye to fellow co-workers already. This week I did much of the same with writing my weekly emails highlighting students. I did notice however now having friends and being able to talk to my co-workers has harmed my working ethics. I have begun to get distracted by talking and researching jokes that we all have instead of doing my emails. Although I do get them done I have slacked in the timely manner I do them in. It has made me realize how to spend my time at a job and reevaluate what is important whenworking and enjoying others company. I've trying to take that into consideration from now on when doing my work with others around me and having a boundry up so I am able to do my work better since I can't do work well unless I have no distractions. Other than that nothing too new has been happening since I am coming to the end I haven't been starting new projects or anything but have gone back to doing the things I began with then I first entered my internship.
