My Worst Enemies, Distractions.

I realized that my worst distractions at my internship are social media on the Internet. When I'm not happy or bored at my internship I tend to go on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or anything else that will pass the time. I also realized the other interns have done the same; the era we live in today has made all of these social medias not even distractions but almost a basic need. We seem to have withdrawals when we don't check our social media pages, almost as if it was a dire need to make sure no ones written on our wall or mentioned us in their tweet since the last five minutes when we checked. I realized my need to be on the Internet and all these social medias isn't necessarily a distraction as much as it is a habit, almost as if I ask myself, "why am I on the computer but not on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest?" The question is how do I change this habit, as technology and social media keeps enhancing?
