This past week, I have not had too much time to put into the job search process, because I have been busy dealing with school and other issues. It is frustrating because I am worried that I am not going to get everything done that I need to. My friend's mom has been reaching out to me with possible job options, but I have not even had the time to look at them yet, and I feel terrible.
I did not go to my internship this past Tuesday, either. I decided to stay home because I needed to catch up on sleep (had been sleep deprived all weekend because I took a trip to Montreal with the MIT band for our annual tour). I am so glad that I have the flexibility to go in to my internship whenever I want to; I don't skip very often, but I am not stressing out because my hours are completed.
This week should be exciting at my internship, however. I will be involved in a photo shoot! I have never done this before, so it will be an interesting experience. The Lesley Internship Office reached out to me a while ago because they wanted me to do a photo shoot at my internship; it would go in the brochure. It was a cool opportunity to take, and I am really excited about it. It took a lot of time to finally set a date, however, and I was worried that the shoot would never happen. Luckily, the Marketing Department emailed me this past week and we set the date and time. Hopefully all goes well and I represent the Citi Performing Arts Center and Lesley well.
